An 80 ft x 80 ft. parking area is complete.   The 130 ft floating dock is being stored near the site, it was recommended that it be installed on top of the ice and then anchored after ice-out.  There is $xxxx left in the grant money, with $xxxx budgeted for signage.

2. Pete Kling.              Pete has accepted a new position with UW extension as Community & Natural Resource Development agent, one of his programs is  “Watchable Wildlife” consisting of maps and info on species that can be observed at such places as South Cedar bay and the “Boche 40”.

Reports for each committee were given:

  1. The driveway work  at the McMurtrie Preserve is on hold until spring, when the land swap will be finalized.    The preliminary building  concept is complete, and the building committee will meet in January.  Aleisha Miller has been working with local educators to inform them of the site and plans. Students from the Alternate school in New Richmond have worked on brushing, trails, and walk-way projects at the site this fall.
  2. Buck’s Night.    This years net will be about $xxxx.   This was down about $xxxx from last year, mostly in lower sponsor donations.  Craig Warren, Jon Seegar, and Dan Bygd have volunteered to co-chair next years event.
  3. Handicap Hunt.   Possible sponsorship changes for next year were discussed.
  4. Fisheries.  20 cords of logs have been ordered, to build 40 to 60 cribs.   Half the cribs will be off the north Cedar lake landing and the other half off the South bay access. Saturday, January 27 is the tentative date for construction with the date to be finalized at the January annual meeting.   The plan is to attempt to get enough workers to complete all the cribs in one day.  Don Demulling will contact lake association members and invite them to the work day.  We probably have about ½ the required cement blocks for weights, and half the brush required.    Permission has been obtained to store materials at the north access.
  5. No reports were provided by Outreach, Park Party, or Pontoon Ride committees.
