Committee Reports :

  1. Committee reports for Education Building, Buck’s Night, Outreach, Park Party, Sr. Pontoon Rides, and Youth were tabled.
  2. Fisheries/Habitat : Dan Cain submitted a budget with a slight increase over last year.    A total of 41 fish cribs were completed on Cedar lake on January 27.  The total is now 134 cribs built over the last 4 years.  Marty Engel has applied for, and received verbal approval for an extension of the crib permit through 2010.  In coming years the cribs will be attempted to be located further from shore and away from existing cribs, to alleviate problems with concentrations of fishermen and parking.    It was decided to publish the locations of the fish cribs on the club web-site.     Agreement was reached on a goal of building 40 to 60 cribs in 2008, with a projected cost of  $3000 to be split with the lake Association, with budgets set around this goal.  We will go back to the old supplier of the oak logs, due to inconsistent size problems this year, many logs were too large to be used.
  3. A lake cleanup day will be held, with a proposed date of Saturday, March 24  from 10:00 to 12:00, to clean up around fish houses, lake accesses, and parking areas.  The Lake Association will arrange for a dumpster at the north access.         A lunch and refreshments will be served after, paid for by the Lake Association.  Details to be decided at the March club meeting.  Fish houses must be removed from the lake by March 18.
  4. Committee sign-up sheets were again circulated.  Bob Swanda was asked to be chair of the Park Party.
  5. Current membership stands at 59 paid members.
  6. The 20007 SPF&G budget was approved as presented.
